Drainage & Plumbing Ltd vs other blocked drain companies in South East
Had a collapsed drain nightmare in Sutton. Got quotes from three companies. Drainage & Plumbing Ltd came out same day, did a proper CCTV survey, and fixed it without the massive excavation the others suggested. Anyone compared them to bigger national firms or other local ones? Worth it or just average?

I had a similar situation and honestly, they sound better than average based on that experience. When I used a company offering emergency drain services in London the biggest difference compared to larger national firms was the approach. Instead of jumping straight to excavation, they actually did a proper CCTV diagnosis and looked for the least invasive fix first, which saved a lot of money and disruption.
From what I’ve seen, bigger companies can be more process-driven and sometimes push costly solutions. Smaller/local teams like this tend to be more flexible and practical. If they solved it without major digging, that’s usually a very good sign.
